Training PhotoAre you interested in being more involved in the Green Dot movement? Consider attending a Green Dot training! The trainings are designed to give you the skills you need in order to do green dots in your everyday life. Through videos, group conversation, discussions, role plays, and interactive activities, we will learn about how to detect a red dot, the barriers that exist for all of us sometimes when we try to do green dots, and how to find the most helpful green dot for every situation. If you are interested in attending or interested in learning more information, please fill out the form below. Trainings are free and include one meal.

Faculty/Staff Registration

For the 2018-2019 academic year, the Office of Health Promotion, the Step In Stand Up Campaign, and the Sexual Assault Survivors Services Committee are working together to put on a series of Step In Stand Up Workshops. These events, open only to Texas A&M Faculty & Staff, will teach attendees how they can step in to stop acts of interpersonal violence with Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training and how they can stand up to support survivors with the STAND Up workshop. Green Dot will be offered in the morning, STAND Up in the afternoon, with lunch available in between. Attendees can choose to attend either the morning session, the afternoon session, or both.

The next SISU Workshop will be held on Tuesday, December 18th with Green Dot Training beginning at 8:30 AM and STAND Up beginning at 1:00 PM.

The December SISU Workshops will be hosted in MSC 2404, 2405, and 2406.

    The Green Dot Bystander Intervention Training program can coordinate reasonable accommodations for participants to ensure access to facilities and information provided during Green Dot Training. If you have a disability that requires accommodations for Green Dot Training it is vital that you request these accommodations in advance. Participants requesting disability accommodations for Green Dot Training (interpreting services, accessible seating, materials provided electronically in advance, etc.) should do so at least three days before their scheduled Green Dot training. Guests requiring sign language interpreting should contact us at least one week before their scheduled Green Dot Training so sign language interpreters can be arranged.
